Live the Manchester life

With countless attractions to enhance your life outside your home, you may find your dream property in Manchester is a more realistic prospect than you realised, through offers such as our Part Exchange scheme – where we act as a guaranteed buyer for an existing property.

Things to see and do in Manchester

With a host of superb museums and galleries ready to pull you in, Manchester’s city centre is compact enough to explore on foot but still offers distinctly diverse areas such as the Northern Quarter and Spinningfields, two hotspots for dining out and the local bar scene.

Whether you’re visiting the Science and Industry Museum, seeing a show at the Lowry or enjoying a night out in the Gay Village, sports fans will enjoy a trip to the National Football Museum or catching a game at Manchester United’s iconic Old Trafford stadium. From Manchester Art Gallery and Manchester Museum to walks along Salford Quays and through Fletcher Moss, you’ll never be stuck for things to see and do across the city.

Education

As you’d expect from a leading UK city, there are plenty of excellent schools in the local area. They include St Wilfrid’s RC Primary School in the Hulme catchment area, which performs very well across the board. Trafford has a number of great options for younger children, including Seymour Park Community Primary School in Old Trafford and St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School in Altrincham.

As for secondary schools, then Altrincham’s two single-sex state grammar schools are ranked as two of the best options anywhere in the North West. Both are outstanding according to Ofsted, while Withington Girl’s School and Manchester Grammar School are rated among the best independent options in the region.

Manchester transport links

With the M60 motorway circling the city, Manchester offers quick and easy access to the UK’s road network. You can pick up the M62 to head east to Leeds and west to Liverpool in around an hour, while the M56, M66 and M61 are all close at hand and the M6 heads south to Birmingham

The city centre benefits from an efficient Metrolink tram system, which branches out to ever-increasing pockets of Greater Manchester. You can also make use of the city’s major airport around 10 miles south of the city centre, as well as the Piccadilly and Victoria train stations. Services to London take just over two hours.

The Manchester property scene

Manchester is a city with so much going for it, so it makes sense there’s a thriving property market both in the centre and on the surrounds. Whether you’re after a city centre apartment close to the buzzing Deansgate or a 4 bed family home in Hyde on the edge of picturesque countryside and Peak District, our new homes in Manchester are a great investment both for now and the future.

Even more so if you let us cover some of your moving expenses with one of our offers such as our Movemaker scheme, which could save you thousands of pounds. Our advisers are waiting to help you discuss your next move, so pick up the phone or enquire online now.
